Families In Recovery

The Families in Recovery program is a significant advancement in the support systems available for families who are experiencing homelessness and suffering with substance use disorders. Through this collaboration, Haven for Hope, Lifetime Recovery, and Pay It Forward, aim to address a critical gap in services by providing residential substance use and mental health treatment to families who lack insurance or financial means.

Key Program Elements:

Inclusive Family Treatment: This will be the first of its kind to offer residential treatment where families can stay together. This means that a man and child(ren), woman and child(ren), or a couple with their child(ren) can receive treatment without being separated.

Holistic Approach to Recovery: Keeping the family unit intact during treatment can significantly improve outcomes. It addresses not only the individual’s substance use disorder but also the overall family dynamics, which are crucial for long-term recovery and stability.

Collaborative Resources: The collaboration of Haven for Hope, Lifetime Recovery, and Pay It Forward leverages the expertise and resources of these established organizations. This collaborative approach enhances the quality and scope of services offered to families.

Addresses Financial Barriers: By working with families without insurance or financial resources, this program ensures that those who are often the most vulnerable and underserved receive the help they need.

Overall, the Families in Recovery program will be a compassionate and comprehensive approach to addressing substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of family unity in the recovery process.
